Special Exhibition: Tourism at the Museum!! — Tracing Travel Diaries of the Edo Period―
In the Edo period, many people traveled.
The purposes of travel varied: visiting temples and shrines, sightseeing famous places, bathing in hot springs, political duties, or domain-related work.
This exhibition introduces travels in the Edo period through diaries, paintings, maps, and other materials related to Ibaraki.
If you take a photo of the Senko Bosetsu Monument(僊湖暮雪碑)at Kairakuen and show it, admission will be free.
