Yami-baito (shady part-time job) or Howaito-anken (white business) job-postings are rampant on SNS, promising easy money in order to attract and encourage young people to apply. Individuals who apply are then threatened and forced to perform heinous crimes (such as robbery or fraud) after sharing their personal information. Those who commit crimes will be punished once they are caught, even if they are juveniles. Seek advice if you think you are a victim of yami-baito.
