Nishida Shunei Exhibition – Phoenix
Nishida Shunei is Japanese painter who works mainly at the Nihon Bijutsuin (the Japan Art Institute). He began to draw “Phoenix” while living in Yakushima for one year from 2022. In the end, “Phoenix” will be giant painting over 90meters. This exhibition features 50 meters “Phoenix”, which is currently being completed.

The 1st Saturday Lecture 「Ibaraki, Ceramics, etc.」
This lecture will introduce you to how to see and enjoy modern ceramics, focusing on the collections of Ibaraki Ceramic Art Museum before the opening of Kasama Himatsuri (Ceramic Festival in Kasama).

Exhibition 「Rosanjin Crossing」
Kitaōji Rosanjin is well known for pursuing his unique aesthetic sense in a wide range of fields. This exhibition introduces visitors to Rosanjin’s world of beauty through around 70 works of ceramics, calligraphy and Japanese paintings.
