May is the time to pay automobile tax.
This month, let’s learn about tax related to cars!

Q1. Who has to pay?

Anyone who owns a car as of April 1st 2025, must pay automobile tax.
(This tax covers the period from April 1st 2025 to March 31st 2026.)

Q2. When do you pay the automobile tax?

The tax bill (payment notice) will be sent via mail by May 2025. Be sure to pay by the deadline written on the tax bill. (June 2nd 2025.)
It is important to keep the payment certificate in a safe place. You will need the tax payment certificate when having a vehicle inspection (Shaken). Store it together with your vehicle registration certificate to avoid losing it!

Q3. How do you make the payment?
