We are now accepting participants for the Japanese Speech Contest. Would you like to talk in Japanese about what you’ve felt or experienced living in Japan or introduce your own country, with the theme of global understanding? We look forward to your application!
When
February 15th(Sat),2026 Start at 13:00pm
Where
The Hirosawa City Kaikan, Shou hall(small hall) (Mito-shi Senba-cho, Higashikubo 697)
Who
Foreigners who live, work, or study in Ibaraki prefecture
- Older than 15 years of age as of April 1st,2025
- Those who have never received Japanese compulsory education
Speaker
A maximum of 15 (If there are more than 15 applicants, the organizing committee will carefully examine and select the participants.)
Speech length
5 minutes
Theme
Any subject that deepens global understanding, other than political, commercial, or religious themes
Application
Please submit the following via mail or e-mail:
①Application Form (You can download from our web site)
②Manuscript of your speech
③Recording of your speech (data, CD-R, USB, etc.)
